Unique Tulum Wedding at Papaya Playa Project

Fitness guru and motivational speaker Robin Arzon tied the knot with her partner, Drew Butler, in a unique an unforgettable Tulum wedding celebration. The event featured all-vegan fare, sunrise yoga, and a wedding day 5K that reflected the couple’s shared love of fitness, health, and wellness.

The pair, who met by chance at a speakeasy in NYC’s East Village back in 2016, wanted their February wedding weekend-long celebration to have all the spirituality of Burning Man, combined with the tranquility of their natural surroundings.

“We are spiritually luxe, and our weekend is where Burning Man meets elegance and community,” Robin explains. ““We wanted our wedding to be an immersive experience, not one day. We planned every event of our wedding weekend with the same precision as the actual wedding.”

Every event was planned with precision and elegance, resulting in a weekend that was truly unforgettable and reflected the couple’s values and style.

The outdoor ceremony was held on the beach, with the couple exchanging vows beneath a beautiful wooden arch adorned with tropical flowers. The ocean breeze and the sound of the waves provided the perfect backdrop for the heartfelt promises that Robin and Drew made to each other.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the beach, with drinks and hors d’oeuvres served under a canopy of palm trees. The reception was held in a beautifully decorated palapa, with a stunning chandelier hanging from the center.

But it wasn’t just about fitness and mindfulness – the celebrations were also infused with the couple’s unique style and love for music. Robin and Drew had curated a playlist of great songs and music mixes that got everyone grooving on the dance floor, all while surrounded by Tulum’s breathtaking natural beauty.

And let’s not forget about the food – as vegans, Robin and Drew made sure their guests were treated to a delicious plant-based feast featuring local ingredients and flavors. It was the perfect complement to the couple’s commitment to living a sustainable and compassionate lifestyle.

The highlight of the weekend was undoubtedly the Burning Man beach party, which saw the couple and their guests show off their elaborate costumes ranging from intricate headdresses and sparkling sequin dresses to body paint designs.
